A poem I wrote on July 6, 2014
Judging others while we fast,
Looking down upon them. Why?
Do we really have the right,
If we gossip, curse and lie?
Do we judge while feeling hunger?
And accuse while feeling thirst?
Do we deem the sins of others
As truly being worse?
When we hide what's in our heart,
Do we think that God won't see?
Is there really a big difference
Between yourself and me?
Can you brag and still be humble?
Can you lie and tell the truth?
Can you eat and still be hungry?
Can you read and stay a fool?
If not, then during Ramadan
Obey this Golden Rule:
To remember our Creator
And follow our Rasool.
